Restaurant Server

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for ensuring guests are attended to with professionalism and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a POS ordering software, regular order pad, or by memory.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any guest requests or concerns.
- Clear and reset tables to ensure a clean dining area for incoming patrons.
- Process payment transactions and thank guests after dining.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure efficient service.
- Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant promotions.

Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with ease.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move about the restaurant efficiently.
